Africa Public Service Day Timeline

23 June is recognized as Africa Public Service Day which reflects on the virtue of public and community service. #APSD originates from the first Pan African Conference of Ministers of Public and Civil Service held in Tangier, Morocco in 1994 where it was resolved that this day be recognized annually.

Africa Publica Service Day is driven by Agenda 2063– Africa’s strategic framework aiming to deliver on the continent’s goal for inclusive and sustainable development. #Agenda2063 is a manifestation Pan-Africanism and the drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress and collective prosperity pursued under Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance.
