The Africa REACH national grants program has significantly advanced our mission to end AIDS in children and young people across the continent; by empowering youth-led and community-driven organisations, the program has enhanced grassroots advocacy, increased access to sexual and reproductive health education, and improved adherence to HIV treatment among young people. Each grantee, whether through innovative digital platforms or community-centred approaches, has contributed to the broader goals of Africa REACH by addressing the unique challenges faced by young people living with and affected by HIV.
The grants program has also strengthened our ability to advocate for policy changes and resource allocation at both national and continental levels. The success stories and measurable impacts from these initiatives provide powerful evidence to support our advocacy efforts, demonstrating the importance of investing in youth-led initiatives and the need for community engagement in the HIV response. As a result, the grants program has not only extended the reach of Africa REACH's work but has also reinforced the effectiveness of our approach to building an AIDS-free generation in Africa.
