With support from Africa REACH, Latkings conducted a stakeholders’ meeting graced by diverse partners such Pastors, Teachers, policy makers, facility personnel, beneficiaries, foot soldiers and advocates. Together, they discussed the importance of planning and implementing adolescent health services at the facility level. Progress and impact were evaluated, with facility in-charges, beneficiaries and partners expressing gratitude for the program’s contribution to ending adolescent and pediatric HIV by 2030.

Lilian Chinfwembe, 24, shares her journey at a stakeholders’ meeting, bravely opening up about her struggle with HIV/AIDS. Betrayed by her ex-boyfriend at 20, she faced abandonment and stigma, leading to academic decline. With support from Latkings Counsellors, she regained confidence, fought self-stigma, and embarked on a journey of self-discovery. Her story highlights the need for compassion in HIV/AIDS management.

The ART In-charge at Matero Level 1 Hospital extended her heartfelt gratitude to Africa Reach for the remarkable impact achieved through the “Lost to Follow” project. Sister Mittima Phiri commended the dedication of the team, highlighting the incredible support provided to peers. Speaking at the stakeholders meeting organized by Latkings with support from Africa Reach, the sister emphasized the facility’s earnest hope that such initiatives continue to thrive, recognizing their profound significance in improving the lives of adolescents and the broader community.
