Latkings Outreach Programme commenced its project activities in October 2023, with a focus on building the capacity of adolescents in Zambia to reconnect young people living with HIV who had been lost to care. The initiative identified and trained youth leaders, fostered collaborations with local health facilities, and developed an effective system for tracing and re-engaging these individuals. This effort created a ‘system of connected pieces that function for the whole’ in a sustainable manner. To meet these key milestones, they engaged with stakeholders at the community, district, and national levels, creating a sustainable network that functions cohesively to support the health and well-being of adolescents living with HIV in Zambia.
